Truth about sailing
Robert M. Pirsig author of "Zen and the art of motorcycle maintenance," passed away recently. His philosophy took him from riding to... sailing. His book "Lila" was written while sailing from lake Ontario to NY down the Hudson River.
For Pirsig, as he bluntly puts it, sailing in our time is "uncomfortable, slow and obsolete". Now let's face it, deep down inside, we all know he's right... And then he moves on to say that "if done right sailing can crack a window in time". I rest his case.
For the love of sailing.
